Free Food Tasting At Republic Of Cavite Restaurant

To promote Cavitenio’s hospitality, culture and most of all the delectable dishes and delicacies, Towns Delight The Caterer and Republic of Cavite invites you to a one of a kind event.

It will be a Free Food Tasting Event at Republic of Cavite Restaurant, Trece Martirez Cavite.

The event will be on September 5, 2009 Saturday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

There will be giveaways/souvenir items to be given away on the said event!

All bloggers/online groups in or near Cavite are invited to join the event!

Here are some of the popular and delectable dishes/foods that we will be offering for free.

  • Lihim ni Lola – a purple rice cake with salted egg and cassava filling. It’s called lihim because it is supposed to be a little secret and the only way to discover it is to go grab a piece and unravel the secret for yourself!
  • Lihim ni Emilio – a yummy dessert consisting of suman sa ibos, chico and mango topped with ice cream and pinipig.
  • Paborito ni Aguinaldo – fried camote strips rolled in ground peanuts and jackfruit strips and finally wrapped in lumpia wrappers.
  • Onde Onde – colorful rice flour with syrup inside
  • Puto Pao – puto topped with salted egg and cheese

We will be also showcasing the following specialties:

  • Flavorful Chicken Barbecue
  • Crispy Binagoongang Baboy
  • Pork Dinuguan
  • Fried Lumpiang Bangus
  • Halayang Kalabasa
  • Café Amadeo

And a lot more foods and delicacies that, maybe, you never heard of or tasted before.
