A sacred space for healing of humanity and nature inspired by Father Fernando Suarez, MonteMaria Oratory is located in Barangay Amuyong, Alfonso, Metro-Tagaytay (province of Cavite) 70 kilometers south of Manila (Philippines). Monte Maria Oratory welcomes all its visitors. It is a place to encounter God in a personal and powerful way; a place for healing – restoration and reconciliation, renewal and revival; a place to meet Jesus through the intercession of Mama Mary of the Poor.”
The first Mass was celebrated last March 13, 2010 by (The Healing Priest) Fr. Fernando Suarez in the cool mountain air of MonteMaria Oratory, Thousand of pilgrims attended the celebration.
Towering over the Tagaytay Ridge at 101 meters, the Oratory command a magnificent view of Taal Volcano the world’s smallest active volcano on serene Lake Taal. MonteMaria is a center for God’s poor, it plans to continue supporting Mary Mother of the Poor Foundation projects for indigent beneficiaries in the Philippines like daily feeding programs for malnourished schoolchildren, on-site free medical and dental clinics and laboratory services, medical and relief missions during disasters and calamities.
Generous donations of financial and spiritual support and professional services offered gratis continue to pour in to MMPF as a resonance response to Father Fernando’s prayer and it’s truly a divine providence and blessing from God.
